About Pine Hill

Pine Hill was established in 1977 with the goal of providing lots of room for the training of horse and rider with interest in the Olympic horse sports.  We are located 50 miles west of Houston on 100 acres of hills with a nice balance of open field and wooded trails.  The facilities include:

·        A 100’ x 200’ covered schooling area often occupied by 70 temporary stalls used when we host competitions and camps

·        A 100’ x 160’ beginner ring

·        A 160’ x 280’ lighted all weather outdoor jumping arena

·        A large well drained warm up area

·        A 12 stall permanent horse barn

·        A pavilion that accommodates a cook shack and secretarial booth with accompanying rest room facility

·        two well drained dressage arenas with plenty of room for warm up

·        cross country courses from the elementary level through Preliminary including banks, drops, ditches, steps, bounces and water jumps  

.   a small air conditioned meeting room / apartment with shower

·        several thousand meters of galloping over fields and through raised  all weather tracks in the woods 

 

Nationally sanctioned Combined Training, Dressage, Hunter/Jumper and Driving competitions have been hosted at Pine Hill.  The facilities meet or exceed the standards set by the national associations.
